Carlton will challenge Kelliher/Northome on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Carlton don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 14-51, which was the final score in Carlton's tilt against Cromwell last Friday. Carlton were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-36.
Meanwhile, Kelliher/Northome got themselves on the board against Bigfork, but Bigfork never followed suit. Kelliher/Northome were the clear victor by a 22-0 margin over Bigfork. Kelliher/Northome were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Carlton found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 8-34 punch to the gut against Kelliher/Northome the last time the two teams met. Can Carlton avenge their loss, or is history doomed to repeat itself ? We'll soon find out.
