Timnath barely beat Weld Central the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cubs were the clear victors by  an  8-2 margin over the Rebels on Saturday. The  victory made it two in a row for Timnath and  bumps their season record up to 4-5-1. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8  runs in those games. As for Weld Central, they now  have a losing record of 4-5.
 Looking ahead, Timnath will take on Severance at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Weld Central, they will welcome Lyons  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
