Bishop Amat took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over the St. Paul Swordsmen. Castaneda threw for 194 yards and one TD on only 16 passes, while Lauago picked up 84 receiving yards and one score. The Swordsmen also got help from Gavin Lannon, who showed off his sure hands for 84 receiving yards.
Bishop Amat has already played their next contest, a 38-10 defeat against Oak Hills on the 28th. As for St. Paul, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Mission Viejo at 7:00 p.m.
