He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Soto, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Eagles on Wednesday. Jones came out on top against Brooks by a score of 8-3. While Jones didn't have the best season last year (they finished 14-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Madden Asbaty, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Chris Huang, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Jones always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brooks only posted an OBP of .214.
Jones has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Chicago Washington, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.
Friday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Chicago Washington has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .446. However, it's not like Jones struggles in that department as they've averaged .482. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
