Ethan Mangrum Dazzles in Sand Creek Win
Starting off the list is Sand Creek's Ethan Mangrum, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mangrum rushed for 175 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 147 rushing yards.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Sand Creek, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. Mangrum and Sand Creek will challenge Cheyenne Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Grand Junction pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. Applegate and Grand Junction will take on Thornton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Elijah Brotherns produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sand Creek to the win on Friday. Brotherns picked up 119 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 57 yards.
On the season, Brotherns has caught 7 touchdowns while averaging 44.2 receiving yards per game.

Elijah ?Pharaoh? Clanton produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Sand Creek to the win on Friday. Clanton made five total tackles and defended six passes in addition to snagging two interceptions which he returned one-yard for a touchdown.
This season, Clanton has averaged 2.4 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive: after five games last season, he had one interception. This year he is already up to two.
