S & S Consolidated can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Callisburg 70-21 at home. The win was just what S & S Consolidated needed coming off of a 50-20 loss in their prior game.
Meanwhile, Paradise didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Whitesboro on Friday, but they still walked away with a 37-32 victory. Given Paradise's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Whitesboro is ranked 659th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Paradise's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Channing Beauvais, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. Morgan Mitschke was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
S & S Consolidated is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. As for Paradise, their victory bumped their record up to 22-7.
S & S Consolidated came up short against Paradise in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 50-44. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Paradise's Brooklyn Force, who scored 16 points along with two steals.
