The Tri-Valley Bulldogs can finally bid farewell to their 21-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Monday. They took down Shenandoah Valley 35-19. That looming 35-19 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Tri-Valley yet this season.
Tri-Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grace Header led the charge by scoring nine points along with six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Miller, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds.
Tri-Valley's victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 1-19. As for Shenandoah Valley, they dropped their record down to 7-7 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Tri-Valley will face off against the at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Weatherly comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 15 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Shenandoah Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
