El Modena's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-15. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 22.3 points per game. As for Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 16-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Modena will take on the Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Brea Olinda presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Vanguards in California (the Wildcats are ranked 309th, while the Vanguards are ranked 714th). As for Canyon, they will be playing at home against the Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Foothill has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 3.
