Woodbridge extended their winning streak to nine on Monday, bumping them up to 17-10. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 9-8 W against the Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles. For the Warriors, this counts as revenge for the 6-1 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2025.
Woodbridge got a great performance from Tyler Martin as he tossed 4.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off seven hits. The dominant performance also gave Martin a new career-high in strikeouts (five).
