Julian Tripp was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and six unearned) runs off three hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season.
