Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Callaway walked away with it. They were the clear victors by  a  16-1 margin over the Thomson Bulldogs on Wednesday. Considering the Cavaliers have won ten contests by more than seven  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Monroe Wiggins was  incredible,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs and three  RBI. Those  three  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Johnnie Fuller, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
 Callaway was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .444. They are 10-1 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Callaway's victory  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 11-18. As for Thomson,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 11-13.
As of now, neither Callaway nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
