Kaylee Huffman spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Alexa Taylor, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Skradski, who earned three runs and two stolen bases.

It's a different story for Millard West, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Papillion-LaVista continue to outrun the ball?
