Newark Memorial fell victim to James Logan and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Colts. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

Newark Memorial saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Murphy, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base. That stolen base was Murphy's first of the season.

Newark Memorial's loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 10-3. As for James Logan, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
