Turlock Christian waltzed into their game on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Aspire Langston Hughes Academy Titans an 11-0 shutout. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by six runs or more this season.

Michael Miller was incredible, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February. Winston York was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.

Turlock Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .300 or higher in five consecutive contests.

Turlock Christian pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Aspire Langston Hughes Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Turlock Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Titans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
