The Cameron County Raiders lost against the Coudersport Falcons back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Cameron County's rough 50-26 loss to Coudersport might stick with them for a while. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Cameron County has scored all season.
Cameron County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ava Hilfiger, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds, and Trinity Earle who scored two points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for her.
Cameron County has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for Coudersport, the win got them back to even at 3-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cameron County will finish 2023 at home by hosting Clarion Area at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Coudersport will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Austin at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2024. Austin will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
