Brentwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Harris Mcclarin, who scored 17 points. Khaden Walker was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Meanwhile, Westminster Christian Academy had to endure an 11-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Victory Baptist on Thursday as Westminster Christian Academy made off with a 62-40 victory. That 22 points margin sets a new team best for Westminster Christian Academy this season.
Brentwood's win was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points per game. As for Westminster Christian Academy, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-12.
Brentwood was able to grind out a solid win over Westminster Christian Academy in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, winning 57-49. Will Brentwood repeat their success, or does Westminster Christian Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
