After only two points in their last match, the Verdugo Hills Dons made sure to put some points up on the board against the North Hollywood Huskies on Friday. Verdugo Hills claimed a resounding 60-27 win over the Huskies on the road. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Verdugo Hills had established a 24 point advantage.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Verdugo Hills to victory, but perhaps none more so than Amiyya Castanos, who scored 22 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Rayleen Castanos, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Verdugo Hills has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a massive bump to their 17-11 record this season. As for North Hollywood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-16.
Verdugo Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. North Hollywood also has no future games currently scheduled.
