Softball Recap: Grove Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Grove entered their tilt with Adair on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Warriors. Considering the Ridgerunners have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Grove's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Adair, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.

Coming up, Grove will face off against Vinita at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hornets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.06 runs per game on average), something the Ridgerunners will no doubt try to take advantage of. Adair has already played their next game (against Coweta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
