The Laguna Creek Cardinals's seven-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 48-27 margin over Burbank. The win was just what Laguna Creek needed coming off of a 67-22 loss in their prior game.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Tearra Robinson, who scored four points along with six rebounds.
Laguna Creek's victory ended a eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-17. As for Burbank, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laguna Creek will take on River City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Burbank, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against McClatchy at 6:30 p.m.
