Mikayla Coleman was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 16 points. The match was her third in a row with at least ten points. Emma Bush was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Red Land kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 43-30 to J.P. McCaskey.
Northeastern pushed their record up to 3-0 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Red Land, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
