Yukon lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Bixby, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's game. The Millers put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 13-2 win on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Millers, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Yukon's third in a row) raised their record to 10-5. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Bixby, they now have a losing record of 10-11.

Looking ahead, Yukon will venture away from home to face off against Piedmont at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Millers 3.9, the Wildcats 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Bixby, they will take on Bartlesville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
