American Prep WV was led to victory by Jimena Cortes and Nicole Tran. Cortes scored seven points along with seven rebounds, while Tran scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Merit Preparatory Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Lizbeth Diaz. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Mary Moody, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds.
