The Kettle Moraine Lasers will square off against the Germantown Warhawks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games Kettle Moraine has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
If Kettle Moraine beats Germantown with three runs on Thursday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Lasers beat Waukesha North on Tuesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-1.
Sam Scaffido made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

In other pitching news, Colton Strosin looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
Scaffido wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Micah Witt Jr., who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double. Callen Mirek also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, Germantown strolled into their game on Wednesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 10-6 win over Oshkosh North.
Parker Zobel looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Landon Hagland was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Meyer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.
Germantown's victory bumped their record up to 25-0. As for Kettle Moraine, their win bumped their record up to 15-11.
