On Monday, Preuss UCSD came up short against Canyon Hills and fell 32-19.
Annalisa Parker was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds for Canyon Hills. That makes it three consecutive games in which Parker has scored at least a third of Canyon Hills' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaela Sancha, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Preuss UCSD has not been sharp recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Canyon Hills, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.
Preuss UCSD won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against The Cambridge School at 3:30 p.m. on January 16th. The Cambridge School's defense has only allowed 15.8 points per game this season, so Preuss UCSD's offense will have their work cut out for them. Canyon Hills won't have much time to rest: their next game is against La Jolla at 6:00 p.m. on January 16th. Hopefully La Jolla focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Saturday.
