The Sonora Wildcats scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 54-36 victory over Argonaut. The victory was a breath of fresh air for Sonora as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Leading Sonora to victory were Adeline Hanson and Taylor Faught. Hanson scored 15 points along with six assists and six steals, while Faught scored 21 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Faught has scored all season. Isabella Ahrens was another key contributor, scoring six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Sonora's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-10. As for Argonaut, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season.
Sonora will head out on the road to challenge Calaveras at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Calaveras will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. Argonaut will take on Summerville at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
