Poppell wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Troy DeVoe, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. DeVoe has become a key player for Coastal HomeSchool: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-15 otherwise. J.W. Castongia was another, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Looking ahead, Coastal HomeSchool will face off against Augusta E at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hurricanes will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least ten runs in their last five matchups. As for Bridges Prep, they will take on St. John's at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
