In what's become a running theme this season, the West Valley Eagles gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. They breezed by Anderson at home  to the tune of  62-29. The  victory was familiar territory for West Valley who now have three in a row.
 Leading West Valley to victory were  Whitney King and  Rainessa Matthews.  King  scored ten points along with three  steals, while  Matthews  scored 13 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Matthews has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Kayla Wiley, who  scored nine points along with two  steals.
 West Valley has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine games,  which provided a nice bump to their 15-4 record this season. As for Anderson, their loss  ended a four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 16-4.
 West Valley won't have much time to rest: their next  match is against Foothill at 5:00  p.m.  on January 13th. As for Anderson, they will look to defend their home court  on Tuesday against Yreka at 6:30  p.m.
