Trinity Catholic entered their tilt with Lake Weir on Wednesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They escaped with a win against the Lake Weir Hurricanes by the margin of a single free throw, 35-34. This was a revenge game for the Celtics: when they faced off against the Hurricanes two weeks ago, they had to take a 61-45 loss.

When it comes to explaining why Lake Weir lost, don't look at Antonio Jackson. Despite the final result, he went 6 of 13 en route to 13 points and four steals. Jackson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of John Smith, who posted 11 points.

Trinity Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Lake Weir, they moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
