Northeast has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Yates Center Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northeast will be strutting in after a win while Yates Center will be coming in after a loss.
Last Tuesday, Northeast was able to grind out a solid win over Crest, taking the game 43-35.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Yates Center, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They took a 48-41 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cherryvale on Friday. Yates Center has not had much luck with Cherryvale recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Northeast's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Yates Center, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-10.
Northeast and Yates Center were neck-and-neck in their previous matchup back in January of 2023, but Northeast came up empty-handed after a 43-42 loss. Can Northeast avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
