Marist waltzed into their game on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Blessed Trinity Titans. The result was nothing new for the War Eagles, who have now won 18 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Marist's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 23-5. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Blessed Trinity, their loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-5.

Coming up, Marist will challenge North Springs at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Blessed Trinity, they will square off against Etowah at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so the Titans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
