The Franklin Learning Center Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat First Philadelphia Prep 41-2 on the road. The team ran away with 31 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Franklin Learning Center to victory, but perhaps none more so than Makiyah Brunson, who scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Saanya Bracley, who scored ten points.
The win was the fifth in a row for Franklin Learning Center, bringing their record for this year to 5-1. As for First Philadelphia Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Franklin Learning Center will square off against South Philadelphia at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. First Philadelphia Prep will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech at 3:15 p.m. on January 22nd.
