The Kings Way Christian School Crusaders will face off against the Covenant Christian Academy Rams at 3:00  p.m.  on Friday.
After dropping their season opener at home, Covenant Christian Academy is headed out to face a Crusaders  squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Kings Way Christian School fell  5-1 to Peoples Baptist Academy last Monday. Crusaders fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Knights since  last Monday.
Meanwhile, Covenant Christian Academy got the win against North Georgia HomeSchool  on Thursday by a conclusive  11-2. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for the Rams.
 Bo Reid and  Asher Bond made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound,  Reid   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Meanwhile,  Bond   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. What's more,  Reid gave up only zero  earned runs, the fewest he's  had since back in March of 2024. Reid is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played dating back to last season.
 In other batting news,  Justin Barton was a standout: he got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  stolen bases and two  RBI. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  stolen bases. Another player making a difference was  Ryan Kennedy, who  scored two  runs and  stole  Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
 Covenant Christian Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .538. That was just more of the same: they've now posted an  OBP of .500 or higher in seven consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
