Leigh got themselves on the board against Christopher on Wednesday, but Christopher never followed suit. They blew past the Cougars 10-0. The Longhorns might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Dylan Christian and Lance Takamura did most of the damage at the plate: Christian went 2-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Takamura went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Takamura a new career-high. Michael Mogannam was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

Leigh always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Christopher only posted an OBP of .381.

The win was the third in a row for Leigh, bringing their record up to 19-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Christopher, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Cougars beat Leigh by a score of 7-5 on Friday.
