Allen Came Up Big in St. John's 48-45 Defeat
Starting off the list is St. John's Cole Allen, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Allen rushed for 248 yards and five touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 50 yards.
Episcopal had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Allen it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Allen saw the Knights), he rushed for 276 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.9 yards per carry.

Wayne Shanks Jr. produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Kinkaid to the win on Thursday. Shanks Jr. rushed for 253 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. He is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played.
The win (which was Kinkaid's sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Shanks Jr. and Kinkaid will welcome Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
