Woodward Academy typically has all the answers at home, but on Monday Lovett proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the War Eagles. Considering the Lions have won 13 matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Lovett and bumps their season record up to 21-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Woodward Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-5.
