The Augusta E Eagles will challenge the Greenville H Hurricanes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Augusta E will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
Augusta E had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Augusta Prep Day on Monday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Cavaliers with a sharp 13-2 win. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Graham Williams was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Jaiden Jacobsen was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Luke Reese was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Greenville H lost 13-6 to St. Joseph's Catholic on Tuesday.
Like Augusta E, Greenville H also got a great game from a two-way player: Richard Jacobs III. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Jacobs III has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two hits in 14 consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
Jacobs III wasn't the only one making solid contact as seven players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was JJ Nixon, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Daniel Wackerhagen, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.
Greenville H's defeat dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Augusta E, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Augusta E has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Greenville H struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
