Central Catholic's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samantha Nichols, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Taryn Calderon, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
The victory got Bret Harte back to even at 2-2. As for Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
