In other batting news, Jouse Solis Rojas was incredible, going 4-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and five RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Rey Barreras, who got on base in four of his six plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI.
Torres kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 25 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 13 hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Bravo let Rancho Dominguez stack four runs on them in the fourth inning on Friday but luckily Bravo prevailed anyway. The Knights sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Lobos. That's two games straight that the Knights have won by just one run.
Johann Centeno made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Centeno was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cristian Torres, who went 3-for-4 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Emiliano Centeno was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Bravo's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Torres, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
Torres beat Bravo 4-0 in their previous meeting back in February of 2025. Do the Toros have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
