Make it ten blowout wins for the Sacramento Adventist Capitals this season. They blew past Western Sierra Collegiate Academy 52-9 at home. The win was familiar territory for Sacramento Adventist who now have three in a row.
Victoria Fowler was her usual excellent self, scoring 21 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. She hasn't dropped below two blocks for six straight games. Mikayla Meza was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds and four blocks.
Sacramento Adventist's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 11-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sacramento Adventist will take on Elk Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Elk Grove has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Buckingham Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buckingham Charter comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last five games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
