Wiseburn- Da Vinci proved they can win big  last Thursday (they won by 23) and  on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits  7-6. The  win was just business as usual for the Wolves, who after three games remain undefeated  this season.
 Edward Sanchez made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He  struck out seven batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   eight  hits (and only one walk). What's more,  he gave up only one  walk, the fewest he's  had since back in March of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
 Sanchez wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Thomas Carpenter, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Wiseburn- Da Vinci pushed their record up to 3-0 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11 runs. As for Long Beach Poly, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Wiseburn- Da Vinci wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  an  8-1  loss against Mira Costa on the 22nd. As for Long Beach Poly, they also  didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  6-5  defeat against San Pedro on the 22nd.
