After a string of four wins, the Bernstein Dragons's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They took a  42-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Mission Bay.
 Despite the loss, Bernstein still got an impressive performance from   Odali Rivera, who  scored 24 points.
 Mission Bay found their leader in underclassman  Audie Caban, who  dropped  a double-double on 23 points and 11  rebounds.
 Bernstein's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Mission Bay, their victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 7-15.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bernstein will take on Madison at 12:00  p.m.  on Monday. Hopefully Madison focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 21 on Saturday. As for Mission Bay, they will be playing at home against Hoover at 6:30  p.m.  on Saturday.
