The Arthur County Wolves's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 51-43 to Brady. Arthur County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Brady apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Talan Storer and Kane Delatour certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Storer dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds, while Delatour scored nine points along with eight rebounds. Dane Pilakowski was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds and seven steals.
Arthur County has not been sharp recently, as they've lost seven of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Brady, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-10.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arthur County will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Sioux County at 3:30 p.m. on January 30th. As for Brady, they will head out on the road to challenge Maxwell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
