The Beyer Patriots's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They fell just short of Ripon Christian by a score of 41-38.
Ripon Christian was led to victory by Reagan Van der hoek and Maddie Yonker. Van der hoek scored 8 points along with 13 rebounds and 6 steals, while Yonker scored 16 points along with 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mikaela Oosterman, who scored 2 points along with 9 rebounds.
The last time Beyer won on the road was back last Monday. Having now lost three straight away matches, they've bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Ripon Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Beyer's road trip will continue as they head out to face Enochs. As for Ripon Christian, they will be playing at home against Millennium at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
