Baseball Recap: Hartford Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Hartford had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over the Watertown Goslings. That's two games straight that the Orioles have won by exactly four runs.

Ethan Ford looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kaiden Romens was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Aidan Kolb, who went 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Hartford's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Watertown, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hartford will face off against Cedarburg at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Watertown, they will challenge Waukesha West at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
