Millikan's game on Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-27 win over the Jordan Panthers. Those 30 points were actually the fewest the Rams have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Despite the loss, Jordan saw an underclassman step up: freshman Mila Hunt posted seven points in addition to seven boards and three blocks. Harmony Isaac was another key player, putting up six points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Millikan pushed their record up to 8-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.3 points on average over those games. As for Jordan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-5.

Coming up, Millikan is taking a road trip to face off against Woodrow Wilson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jordan, they will venture away from home to square off against University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
