West Catholic has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will be home for the holidays to greet the George School Cougars at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Sunday, West Catholic lost to Abington on the road by a decisive 60-45 margin.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ciani Scott, who scored 18 points along with three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ciana Blake, who scored 12 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, George School unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Sunday. They fell 51-40 to Archbishop Carroll. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points George School has scored all season.
West Catholic's loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-2. As for George School, their loss dropped their record down to 5-1.
