The Quantico Warriors lost against the Highland Hawks back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Quantico took a serious blow against Highland, falling 49-11. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Quantico in their matchups with Highland: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Quantico still got an impressive performance from Olivia Barry, who scored 11 points.
Quantico bumped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road. As for Highland, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.
Quantico will head out on the road to face off against Grace Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Foxcroft at 4:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Foxcroft's defense has only allowed 24.2 points per game this season, so Highland's offense will have their work cut out for them.
