Having struggled with ten losses in a row, Tri County Northeast turned things around against Creighton on Saturday. They pulled ahead with a 46-45 photo finish over the Bulldogs.

Tri County Northeast's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Briley Anderson, who went 7-for-13 to rack up 17 points and five blocks. Those five blocks gave Anderson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Joslyn Mackling, who shot 46% from the field on her way to 14 points.
Stanton typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Bloomfield proved too difficult a challenge. They blew past the Mustangs 62-32. The Bees have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 22 points or more this season.
Bloomfield's win came from a few key players that Tri County Northeast will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kennedy Mlady, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. Mlady is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least three every time she's taken the court this season. Madyson Mlady was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine boards.
Bloomfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in three consecutive games.
Tri County Northeast's record is now 4-14. As for Bloomfield, their record now sits at 17-0.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Tri County Northeast has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.3 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Bloomfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 32.7 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
