Kaidon Salter passed for 241 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 128 yards Friday, leading Cedar Hill to a 27-17 win at defending state 5A-2 champion Aledo.
Kevin Young put away a close game with a 20-yard touchdown run in the final minutes and ended the Bobcats' 17-game win streak.
Cedar Hill (3-0) came into the game ranked No. 13 in the MaxPreps Texas computer rankings, while Aledo (2-1) was No. 12.
The Bobcats lost their season opener last season, before running the table with 15 straight wins. They opened the season with a 70-7 win over Weatherford before a 34-32 victory over Lone Star.
DeMarco Roberts rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns in defeat.
