There were no changes in the top three spots as De La Salle of the Bay Area maintained its remarkable hold on all of Northern California as pretty much the top-ranked team for 30 years.
Sacramento-area programs Folsom and Grant are No. 2 and 3, though they likely won't meet in the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs due to enrollment — Folsom is in Division I and Grant in D-II.

Result: Beat previous No. 4 Foothill 56-21 as
Andrew Hernandez ran for 180 yards and three touchdowns and
Antoine Custer went for 156 and a score. The Spartans did lose quarterback
Anthony Sweeney to an arm injury, though
Chris Vanderklugt kept the team humming. The Spartans' unbeaten streak against Northern California competition since 1992 is 256 games. Other wins this season include ranked foes Del Oro, Serra and Jesuit from the North, along with Byrnes (South Carolina) and Servite (Anaheim).

League: Sierra Foothill
Result: Beat No. 8 Rocklin 56-21 as
Jake Browning passed for 377 yards and four touchdowns and
Bailey Laolagi rushed for 51 yards and two scores.
Cole Thompson and
Josiah Deguara each had two touchdown receptions. Deguara had 213 yards receiving, including a 90-yard touchdown.

Result: Beat Sheldon (Sacramento) 42-27 as
Deshawn Collins ran for 131 yards and two touchdowns and
Donovan Brown accounted for two scores. Earlier wins include 26-19 over then No. 3 Elk Grove.

Result: Beat Riordan (San Francisco) 36-10 after trailing 3-0 at the half to win the John Baxter Trophy. The losses are to No. 1 De La Salle 41-13 and Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) 24-14.

Result: The top-ranked NorCal Division II team beat Concord 48-40 as
Miles Harrison rushed for 336 yards and five touchdowns and he returned a kickoff for a score.

Result: Lost to No. 1 De La Salle 56-21.
Kyle Kearns passed for 159 yards and a score and

Result: Beat Franklin (Elk Grove) 35-19 as
Beau Bisharat scored three touchdowns, including an early 78-yarder, and

Isaiah Bailey hooked up on big scoring plays. Linebacker
Issac Lessard laid some crushing hits. Earlier win was 42-38 over No. 10 Elk Grove. The loss was an opener to De La Salle.

Result: Beat Monterey Trail (Elk Grove) 34-27 as
Manny Scott-Anderson ran for two touchdowns and had the game-saving tackle on 4th-and-goal at the 1 as time ran out.
Eltoro Allen and
Spencer Sheff also played well. The losses were to No. 3 Grant 26-19 and No. 8 Jesuit 42-38.
